Mohammed Rashid

Mohammed Rashid (1989) has an background in economics and began his career in the financial sector. Early on, he realized that this industry did not align with his values, and he consciously chose to develop his sales experience in other sectors, with great success. In addition, he managed several small businesses, both nationally and internationally, before fully dedicating himself to project management within social and non-profit organizations.

Over the past seven years, he has advanced to the role of International Operations Director at an Islamic non-profit organization. He currently leads ten teams across five different countries, with a total of more than fifty team members, and supports organizations in their establishment, growth, and professionalization through the use of modern management systems.

Through his international work experience, multilingualism, and many years of living abroad, he has built an extensive network. His strength lies in connecting people and setting up and structuring projects. With Tawfiq Invest, he aims to use this expertise to empower the Muslim community and make halal investments accessible.

Mohamed Akkouh

Mohamed Akkouh (1990) is a lecturer in Islamic Law at the educational institute Dar al-Fahm. In addition to studying Business Administration and the Arabic language, he pursued Islamic Studies under scholars and institutions from various countries, including the Islamic Open Academy (Riyadh, KSA) and Al-Azhar University (Cairo, Egypt).

He is dedicated to advancing the knowledge and application of Islamic finance in the Netherlands by serving as a Shariah compliance advisor for various organizations. Through his training and consultancy firm, IFTA, he has also advised and trained hundreds of Muslim entrepreneurs and professionals in the Netherlands and Belgium.

In addition, Mohamed is a member of the Council of Scholars of the Islamic Finance Advisory (IFA), which is part of the Islamic Council of Europe in London.

At Tawfiq Invest, he is responsible for reviewing and monitoring all structures and agreements from a Shariah perspective. His expertise ensures that not only the business models of the involved companies but also the terms of the investment agreements are fully halal. In this way, he contributes to enabling halal investments, wealth growth, and a more empowered Muslim community.
